Keith T. Grey, Sr.

Arriving here in 2003, I became involved in The Community Playhouse of Lancaster County, including six years on the Board. Initial member of the Lindsay Pettus Greenway Board, 2014 - 2020. Chairman of the Lancaster County Democratic Party 2016 - 2022. Joined the Board of the Lancaster Housing Services, an affiliate of the Lancaster Housing Authority in 2020. Elected to the Executive Committee of the Lancaster Branch of the NAACP in 2020. In 2023, joined the Board of Directors of Hope On The Hill and the Executive Board for Palmetto Council Against Spouse Abuse. In addition, I have run for SC House District 45 (southwest Lancaster County) in 2020 and 2022. My focus in retirement is to give back to the community.

Dr. Paul N. McKenzie is the President of the Southeast Center for Strategic Community Development, founded to help build capacity of community and faith-based organizations. He has authored over $160 million dollars in funded grant proposals, served as principal investigator or evaluator for over 50 federal grants, and specializes in at-risk youth, families, and culturally competent intervention strategies.

Dr. McKenzie has authored two books and numerous articles in his field and in 1984, received the Outstanding Research Award from the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy.

Kemesha has a passion for working with children. She serves as the Children’s Advocacy Center Director for Palmetto Citizens Against Sexual Assault, in which she conducts interviews for children who have been physically and sexually abused for law enforcement, Department of Social Services and the Sixth Judicial Circuit. She is also an Early Learning Specialist with the Children Council and a Direct Care worker with Lancaster Children’s Home.

Kemesha serves a board member for Lancaster County Board of Zoning Appeals and a member of the Sixth Circuit Domestic Fatality Review Committee.
